Care and support
Social care and support is practical and personal support to help people live well with illnesses, disabilities or conditions. Most of us will need to rely on some aspect of the social care system in our lifetimes, or care about someone who does. When done right it can mean people are supported to live well, regardless of whether they are in their own home, the home of a family member, or a residential care home.
It is vital to many people with arthritis as it can help them to do basic daily activities like eating, washing and take part in activities in their community that contribute to their wellbeing.
