Expression of interest and commissioning studies

At the early stages, investigators are encouraged to fill in what they can to enable initial dialogue. This EOI form may be submitted partially completed to facilitate initial engagement with the group. Its completion can then be an iterative, cumulative process in line with engagement with the CSG and as the study becomes more defined over time.

The osteoarthritis (OA) CSG is seeking to support new clinical study proposals that fall within the remit of the OA CSG’s research strategy. If you are interested in applying for funding in an upcoming Arthritis Research UK Clinical Studies funding round (deadlines are first week of February, June and October), please submit an expression of interest form.

If you have a concept for an interventional clinical trial in OA or gout that fits our current strategy, then we welcome expressions of interest.

How do I submit a proposal?
Please submit a 1-2 page expression of interest that outlines your proposal. We will then feedback from the CSG. The expression of interest form is available on our applicant information webpage.

If you are interested in being involved in studies in your area of interest/expertise that are in development or have been supported by the CSG, for example as a member of the scientific committee for a study in development or as a recruiting site for a clinical trial, then please complete and submit the registration of commitment to participate as an investigator in trials/studies form (PDF 616 KB).
