Research paper of the year award and Joint Matters

People stood around a table

Congratulations to Professor Christian Mallen and colleagues from the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre for being awarded Research Paper of the Year in their category by the Royal College of General Practitioners.

This award recognises researchers who have undertaken and published an exceptional piece of research relating to general practice or primary care.

This award-winning research paper provided important information for GPs to improve the management of polymyalgia rheumatica.

Joint Matters

The summer of 2017 we launched Joint Matters, a regular clinical update designed to provide short, topical articles for all healthcare professionals with an interest in musculoskeletal conditions. The first edition includes articles on PROMs and cardiovascular comorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis.

See the latest edition on our Health professionals and student pages.
