Involvement resources for researchers
Our ambition is to transform the lives of people with arthritis whilst continuing to fund ground breaking research.
To achieve this, we've transformed the scope of our research investment and adopted a new approach to funding, including a meaningful integration of patient insight partners into our funding committees.
People with arthritis are involved in all our internal research activities, and we advocate for the involvement of patients in every stage of the research cycle. To support researchers in their patient and public involvement work, we’ve developed several resources: a PPI handbook for researchers, training workshops, and bespoke support from our research involvement team.
We're pleased to offer a training workshop to help our researchers integrate patient involvement into their research, and are also able to advise groups and organisations on their involvement activites.
We've developed a handbook to support researchers to integrate meaningful patient and public involvement into their work.
We know that some of our researchers do great patient and public involvement work, and here you can find a selection of stories highlighting ways that patients have been involved across the whole research spectrum.
