Two Team A cyclists celebratingThis  46 mile route is being brought to you by London Marathon Events to take place over the Prudential RideLondon cycling festival at the end of July.

You could be taking to the closed streets of London. Leaving from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park making your way past some of London’s famous landmarks finishing on The Mall.

How do I join Team A?

Congratulations on securing your own place in the RideLondon-Surrey 46 public ballot - thank you so much for wanting to ride for Team A. To officially register with Arthritis Research UK, simply click the 'Join Team A' button below, select 'I have secured a place in the public ballot'. Once you have completed the registration form the events team will be in touch to offically welcome you to Team A.

What do I get?

All our Team A cyclists receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange cycling jersey to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge
  • dedicated Team A cheer points on the day around the route
  • Prosecco in the park – join us for a post-race glass of fizz
  • access to our Team A closed Facebook group where you can share training tips and fundraising advice with your team mates before the big day

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 16 years old to take part in this event
  • complete the route within 4 hours. All cyclists must be past Hampton Court Bridge by 11:25 latest (14mph)
  • adhere to the organisers list of permitted bikes (more information can be found here)
  • be available to start on the 29 July 2018 from 9am-9:30am

Securing a charity place:

  • registration fee is £20
  • your registration fee is non-refundable
  • your minimum sponsorship target is £280 and you have until 29 August 2018 to get sponsorship into Arthritis Research UK
  • you can secure a charity place if you are still waiting to hear about your ballot entry
  • registrations will close in June 2018

Entering the ballot: 

  • the ballot will open in 2018 - date TBC
  • the ballot is chosen at random and facilitated by the organisers of the race
  • the public ballot registration fee is £39 and is separate from Arthritis Research UK’s registration fee
  • if you’re successful in the public ballot, you can join Team A and raise as much as possible
