Two Team A cyclists celebratingJoin Team A for the world’s greatest festival of cycling. This 46-mile route follows the first 27 miles of the RideLondon-100 before taking a new two-mile route, which then links up with the last 17 miles through London to the finish on The Mall.

You'll have the unique opportunity to cycle on car-free, closed roads before finishing in style in front of Buckingham Palace. Perfect for newer cyclists, or simply those who don’t fancy the full 100-mile route, this sportive is an incredible experience and one not to be missed!

How do I join Team A?

To secure a guaranteed charity place, simply click on the 'Join Team A' button below and complete our online registration form. There is a £20 registration fee and we ask for each of our runners to raise a minimum of £280 to support more people living with arthritis.

The public ballot will open in 2019 (date TBC).

To be in with a chance of securing your own place, visit the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey website here.

If you are lucky enough to secure a place, come back here to register with Team A. There is no minimum sponsorship commitment, we just ask you to raise as much as you can.

What do I get?

All our Team A cyclists receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange cycling jersey to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge
  • dedicated Team A cheer points on the day around the route
  • Prosecco in the park at our post race meet and greet
  • access to our Team A closed Facebook group where you can share training tips and fundraising advice with your team mates before the big day

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 16 years old to take part in this event
  • complete the route within 4 hours. All cyclists must be past Hampton Court Bridge by 11:25 latest (14mph)
  • adhere to the organisers list of permitted bikes (more information can be found here)

Securing a charity place:

  • registration fee is £20
  • your registration fee is non-refundable
  • your minimum sponsorship target is £280 and you have until 4 September 2019 to get sponsorship into Arthritis Research UK
  • you can secure a charity place if you are still waiting to hear about your ballot entry
  • registrations will close in June 2019

Entering the ballot: 

  • the ballot will open in 2019 - date TBC
  • the ballot is chosen at random and facilitated by the organisers of the race
  • the public ballot registration fee is £39 and is separate from Arthritis Research UK’s registration fee
  • if you’re successful in the public ballot, you can join Team A and raise as much as possible
