Tips on physiotherapy
I’m 82 and have had arthritis since abut 2001 – two new hips, and in between, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). I was treated promptly for the PMR and given your leaflet, and then slowly came off the steroids, but no-one told me I’d have to work very hard to get the muscles back!
Physiotherapy needs to be more readily available, as we know. Now, thanks to NHS and private physiotherapy, I’m much better, can walk properly and have joined a Fitness League (seated) class which is excellent and much more fun!
