We have two exciting opportunities for skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Project Managers to deliver the whole life-cycle of priority projects across the Charity. Initially, one will focus on Customer Engagement and Experience and the other Data Governance.
About the role
These roles are being established during a period of accelerated change and are challenging but exciting opportunities to be involved in high impact, organisation changing projects.
Project Manager for Customer Engagement and Experience
You will initially be deployed in support of the customer engagement & experience project but will lead on other underpinning priority projects moving forward. This is a key project that contributes to the wider Data Governance Programme, which is currently a significant organisational priority. As Project Manager for this role you will play an important part in supporting the improvement of quality customer engagement across the charity and the impact of existing data assets. Our Customer Engagement & Experience team have a goal to develop a single customer view of a contact with the systems and processes to help deliver a seamless, personalised, valued and relevant customer-centric experience.
Project Manager for Data Governance
You will initially be deployed in support of the data governance programme but will lead on underpinning priority projects. You will work effectively with stakeholder and governance / reporting arrangements supporting our Development Programme Managers and Leadership Management Group to deliver prioritised programmes. Previous data governance project experience is not a key requisite of this recruitment. We seek a project management specialist with a broad range of project experience.
In both these roles you will have the opportunity to influence the scope and brief of various projects and be responsible for planning, initiation and implementation phases, managing the whole lifecycle. These projects and work-packages will shift over time to reflect our organisational priorities. The outputs of these projects will have high level significance to a national audience and so this is a great opportunity to add significant experience to your career as a project manager.
The ideal candidate will bring:
at least 2 years of experience in a project management role, successfully managing the whole lifecycle of large, complex and long-term projects
the ability to recognise and articulate problems, and to develop solution options and recommendations.
- strong organisational skills including the ability to balance and independently manage workload that includes multiple concurrent priorities.
an enthusiastic and flexible approach: able to work closely and adaptively with the immediate team and collaboratively across the entire organisation and a range of stakeholders.
high levels of problem-solving, innovation and creativity.
strong analytical skills and experience of monitoring project management variables
While your project management skills and knowledge will be vital, this role will not require specialist skills or knowledge related to data governance.
