Summary

Join the fundraising team as a Direct Marketing Officer to transform the lives of people with arthritis. In this role you will manage acquisition and retention campaigns, helping to grow the volume and value of the supporter database.

About the role

As a member of the Direct Marketing (DM) team you will help to raise around £2million annually by managing acquisition and retention campaigns across various channels including print, online and telephone.

In this role you will take sole responsibility for DM campaigns from start to finish, so you will already have a thorough understanding of how to manage and deliver a successful campaign.

Critical to your success in this role will be your understanding of the different elements of a DM campaign, and your ability to forge excellent working relationships that get the best out of colleagues and suppliers.

You’ll also be able to hit deadlines and work within budget, and of course you’ll have a track record of delivering terrific results

We’re currently developing a new strategy which you will be involved in implementing, so this is a good chance to become part of a team that will transform the charity’s fundraising and in turn, change the lives of those living with arthritis.

Key requirements

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of managing direct marketing campaigns. Specifically, you will have:

  • A thorough understanding of how to deliver a successful DM campaign;
  • The ability to forge excellent working relationships with colleagues and suppliers;
  • Project management skills that mean you hit deadlines and work within budget;
  • A track record of delivering terrific results.
