Our volunteers play a vital role in raising funds and raising awareness about the pain of arthritis. We couldn't operate without them.
Volunteering is a great way to:
- develop and share your skills
- meet new people
- work with a team that's passionate about making a difference.
Help at an event
We have a range of events that take place across the UK. You could play a vital role in making these events happen in your local area.
Cheer on our runners, marshal an event or help to collect those all important funds at your local supermarket. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Organise your own event
Organising your own fundraising activity can be fun, and it really helps to make a difference. Organise a walk, a run, a pub quiz, live music or a ball. Whatever you decide to do, we’ll be on hand to support you every step of the way.
To discuss how you can organise your own event, contact our community fundraising team by emailing email@example.com or by calling 0300 790 0405.
Help at one of our charity shops
Our shop staff are always looking for volunteers to help them prepare and display donated stock so it’s ready for sale, help customers and promote the charity’s work.
If you can spare a minimum of three hours a week and would like to volunteer, speak to the manager of your local shop, or contact Jacqueline Brealey on firstname.lastname@example.org for general information.
Please note we don't have any involvement in the Work Programme. For more information, please read Arthritis Research UK and the Work Programme.
