Arthritis Research UK at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

We’re delighted that The Arthritis Research UK Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013, designed by award winning designer and BBC broadcaster Chris Beardshaw, was awarded a gold medal and won People’s Choice for the second year running.

Our garden volunteers; all with their own connection to the charity, spent the week talking to the show visitors about our garden, sharing our vital information on arthritis and highlighting the work needed to help the 10 million people in the UK who have arthritis.

Our stunning garden, reflected the personal journey and emotions of someone with arthritis, from confusion and lack of understanding, following a diagnosis, to a point where they are informed about the disease and able to manage their pain.

Chris Beardshaw’s, very personal design has helped us to raise awareness of how we help people with arthritis manage their condition by providing information and funding life-changing research.

Arthritis Research UK would like to thank the supporters, researchers, healthcare professionals and staff who have volunteered their time to help support The Arthritis Research UK Garden.
