Giving through your pay

Giving through your payroll is a really easy and incredibly cost-efficient way to support Arthritis Research UK's research. You decide what to give and your employer deducts that amount from your pay each week or month.

There's also a tax advantage to payroll giving because your donation comes out of your salary before it's taxed. This means that if you're a standard-rate taxpayer, for every £1 you donate, the actual cost to you will be 78p.

Your pledge to us (gross)

£3.90 £3.00

£39.00 £30.00

The Income Tax applicable to the donation is paid to Arthritis Research UK instead of the Inland Revenue.

How do I set up payroll giving?

To help us through payroll giving, complete and sign our payroll giving form (PDF, 523 KB) and return it to:

Arthritis Research UK
Copeman House
St Marys Court

You can alter or cancel your donation at any time – just tell your payroll office.

If your employer doesn't currently operate payroll giving, please ask your payroll office to contact Give As You Earn for advice on how to set this up.
