Strategy development and priority setting
The key strategy for the CSG supporting the development of patient centred, competitive clinical study applications is transparent partnership.
Core to this are the principles of mutual benefit through collaboration, transparency, impartiality and high academic rigour. Investigators submitting their own study ideas/ proposals can be assured of this. For further clarification please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
One of the other key responsibilities of the CSG is to identify broad areas of unmet need in the care of patients with metabolic bone disease or fracture. This process is informed by the CSG steering group, Topic Specific Groups, our email constituency and formal consultation with the National Osteoporosis Society. Every year, we will produce updated priority list on the website to help guide investigators to match their study ideas with the CSG priorities for funding.
