USER stakeholder committee

The USER stakeholder committee contributes to the review of grant applications by advising on the relevance, importance and practicalities of the research to people with arthritis and the clinicians who treat them (our stakeholders). The committee is comprised of lay patients as well as clinically active, but predominantly research inactive, health professionals.

Our committee structure is changing

In order to ensure that the opinions and perspectives of people with arthritis are effectively taken in to account in research decision-making, we’re redeveloping our approach to patient and public involvement. The activities of the USER committee will therefore change and expand over the course of 2016 to align with new committee structures. Over the coming months, our webpages will be updated to reflect the changes as more information becomes available.

Get involved

If you have lived experience of arthritis, in any of its forms, and would like to help guide our research activities at this new and exciting time for patient and public involvement, contact us at researchliaison@arthritisresearchuk.org to find out more and get involved.
