UK Biobank

• Arthritis Research UK wish to support the exploitation of the resource established by the UK Biobank project to address questions of musculoskeletal interest
  
  
• The subject data, biologic samples and some of the examination data such as bone density scans, can provide a key resource for several investigations
  
  
• Arthritis Research UK would not wish to duplicate collection of data or samples from population groups that are available within Biobank.  Researchers proposing to undertake studies of this type are advised to consider using UK Biobank (http://www.ukbiobank.ac.uk/). Arthritis Research UK would pay for any costs incurred in relation to using the resource for all funded applications
