APPG on Medical Research

People talking around a table

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Medical Research acts as a forum for discussion and network for Parliamentarians with an interest in medical research. The group also aims to facilitate collaboration between parliamentarians and medical research bodies, and to provide MPs and peers with up to date information on developments in medical research, including aspects of public health, ethics of research, and the implications of research findings for society..

Arthritis Research UK is proud to support the group along with its partner organisations; the Association of Medical Research Charities (who also provide secretariat services), the Academy of Medical Sciences, the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, the Medical Research Council, and the Wellcome Trust.
