Dorsal longitudinal scan of DIP joint

The patient sits, hand pronated, arm supported, with the probe placed longitudinally on the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint. The joint space is moved to the centre of the picture. The finger nail and nailbed, middle phalynx and base of distal phalynx are visualised.
