Ultrasound: flexor tenosynovitis

Real-time palmar longitudinal view of flexor tendon at the 2nd metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint. The flexor tendon is slightly inhomogeneous and less regular with hypoechoic tendon sheath thickening and effusion above and below it. There is abnormal power Doppler signal within the tendon sheath and tendon which represents tenosynovitis.
