Wye Valley Challenge - 100km Challenge

Ross-on-WyeJoin Team A for this new event in 2018- the Wye Valley Challenge.

Taking on 100km of some of southern Britain's most dramatic landscapes. You will leave Chepstow and weave your way along the River Wye heading on the western edge of the Forest of Dean hopping between the border of England and Wales finishing in Hereford.

How do I join Team A?

You can join Arthritis Research UK’s very own Team A by clicking on the ‘Join Team A’ button below, completing the online registration and selecting Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity.

What do I get?

All our Team A challengers receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange top to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge


What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 18 years old to take part in this event
  • select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
  • finish within 20-34hrs if you’re a walker
  • finish within 17-20hrs if you’re a jogger
  • finish within 9-16hrs if you’re a runner
  • pay your registration fee (£80) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
  • commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £425 have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date (29 June 2018)

You can:

  • self-fund this challenge by paying £185 directly to Action Challenge and then raise as much as possible for Arthritis Research UK
  • enter as an individual
  • enter as a team
  • join an existing team
