South Coast Challenge – 50km challenge
Two 50km challenges to choose from, which leg is your choice.
The first 50km challenge will see you leave Eastbourne and head along the coastal path and into the South Downs. Taking in the beautiful countryside you will make your way into Brighton for the finish.
The second 50km will see you leave Brighton heading into the South Downs. The breath-taking views will lead you to the finish line in Arundel.
You can walk, jog or even run these routes.
How do I join Team A?
You can join Arthritis Research UK’s very own Team A by clicking on the ‘Join Team A’ button below, completing the online registration and selecting Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity.
Please note Arthritis Research UK are a listed charity when you are applying.
What do I get?
All our Team A challengers receive:
an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
an official Arthritis Research UK orange top to wear on the big day
support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge
What else do I need to know?
be 16 years old to take part in this event
select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
finish within 9-14hrs if you’re a walker
finish within 8-10hrs if you’re a jogger
finish within 4-8hrs if you’re a runner
pay your registration fee (£50) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £275
have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date (14 July 2017)
