London2Brighton - Quarter challenge

Walkers in a line When you take on the quarter challenge, you have two legs to choose from. The first quarter (25km) will see you leave Richmond Park and make your way out of London finishing at Oaks Farm.

The second quarter (31km) will see you leave Oaks Farm then head to the finish at Tulley's Farm, the half way mark for the full challenge.

You can walk, jog or even run this route.

How do I join Team A?

You can join Arthritis Research UK’s very own Team A by clicking on the ‘Join Team A’ button below, completing the online registration and selecting Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity.

What do I get?

All our Team A challengers receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange top to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 16 years old to take part in this event
  • select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
  • finish within 4-7hrs if you’re a walker
  • finish within 3-5hrs if you’re a jogger
  • finish within 2-3hrs if you’re a runner
  • pay your registration fee (£40) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
  • commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £175
  • have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date(13 April 2018)

You can:

  • enter as an individual
  • enter as a team
  • join an existing team
  • self fund this challenge by paying £75 directly to Action Challenge then raising as much as possible for Arthritis Research UK
