London2Brighton - Full Challenge

Walkers in a field going uphillOne of the UK’s great endurance events – this challenge takes you from the Capital out to the seaside town of Brighton.

Following paths and trails alongside thousands of other participants this event is a must for those looking to take on an iconic challenge.

You can walk, jog or even run this route.

You can take on this challenge over 2 days completing 56km on the Saturday and the remaining 44km on the Sunday! Camping option available at an additional cost.

How do I join Team A?

What do I get?

All our Team A challengers receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange top to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge

 

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 18 years old to take part in this event
  • select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
  • finish within 20-34hrs if you’re a walker
  • finish within 17-20hrs if you’re a jogger
  • finish within 9-16hrs if you’re a runner
  • pay your registration fee (£80) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
  • commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £425
  • have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date(13 April 2018)

You can:

  • complete this 100km challenge over 2days (you must finish within 10-17hrs daily for walkers, 7-10hrs daily for joggers and 4-8hrs daily for runners)
  • pay £59pp (share for £80) for camping if taking on the challenge over 2 days or find your own accommodation
  • self fund this challenge by paying £185 directly to Action Challenge then raise as much as possible for Arthritis Research UK
  • enter as an individual
  • enter as a team
  • join an existing team
