Full Island Challenge

Chale, Isle of Wight, PO38 2JF

Women celebrating overlooking the seaStarting in Chale, you’ll take on this 106km continuous challenge on England’s largest island.

You will follow the coastal line around the island with major rest stops along the way.

Want to make a weekend out of it? You can take on this challenge over 2 days completing 52km on the Saturday and the remaining 54km on the Sunday with an option to camp!

You can walk, jog or even run this route.

How do I join Team A?

You can join Arthritis Research UK’s very own Team A by clicking on the ‘Join Team A’ button below, completing the online registration and selecting Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity.

What do I get?

All our Team A challengers receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  • an official Arthritis Research UK orange top to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 18 years old to take part in this event
  • select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
  • finish within 20-32hrs if you’re a walker
  • finish within 17-20hrs if you’re a jogger
  • finish under 16hrs if you’re a runner
  • pay your registration fee (£80) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
  • commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £425
  • have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date (23 March 2018)

You can:

  • self fund this challenge by paying £185 directly to Action Challenge and then raise as much as possible for Arthritis Research UK
