Hadrian's Wall Weekend
03 June 2016 to 05 June 2016
Hadrian’s Wall originally ran from coast to coast and spanned 72 miles. Today only sections of this famous landmark remain, cutting through Northumberland National Park.
Starting at Lanercost Priory, you will trek for 25 miles (41km) alongside the only remaining sections of the wall, admiring ancient monuments and taking in the beautiful scenery at the now UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You can secure your place on this challenge by clicking on the ‘Join Team A’ button below, choosing your date and completing the registration form with Discover Adventure. (Don’t forget to select Arthritis Research UK)
There are two payment options available to you:
pay a £75 registration fee then raise a minimum of £460 for Arthritis Research UK
or, pay a £75 registration fee then pay sum of £230 and set your own fundraising target

an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
an official Arthritis Research UK orange t-shirt to wear on the big day
support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge
What else do I need to know?
be 18 years old to take part in this event
there are several dates available including 3rd June 2016 (3 days), 2nd September 2016 (3 days), 2nd June 2017 (3 days – price increase) and 1st September 2017 (3 days – price increase)
If you chose to raise the minimum sponsorship target you must:
get the full amount of £460 into the charity 10 weeks prior to departure
If you chose to fund your own trip:
all fees are due directly to Discover Adventure and 100% of your sponsorship will come to Arthritis Research UK
