Cotswold Way Challenge – 25km challenge

Team of walkers in a fieldAlongside those taking on the 100km and the 50km, Action Challenge have launched a 25km distance starting in the same iconic location - Bath.

You will leave Royal Victoria Park in Bath and head out towards the Cotswold Way finishing in Tormarton.

How do I join Team A?

You can join Arthritis Research UK’s very own Team A by clicking on the Join Team A button below, completing the registration form and selecting Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity.

When you select Arthritis Research UK on the registration from, Action Challenge will notify us and then the events team will be in touch to welcome you to the team.

What do I get?

All our Team A challengers receive:

  • an official welcome pack, including our Guide to Fundraising with tips and advice to help raise vital funds for Arthritis Research UK, sponsorship forms and posters to help promote your fundraising
  • top training, nutritional and health advice to make sure you’re ready for the big day
  •  an official Arthritis Research UK orange t-shirt to wear on the big day
  • support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge
  • access to our Action Challenge Facebook group where you can share training tips and fundraising advice with your team mates before the big day

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • be 16 years old to take part in this event
  • select your pace type when registering, either walker, jogger or runner
  • finish within 4-7hrs if you’re a walker
  • finish within 3-5hrs if you’re a jogger
  • finish within 2-3hrs if you’re a runner
  • pay your registration fee (£40) directly to Action Challenge and select Arthritis Research UK as your chosen charity
  • commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target of £175 have 50% of your fundraising target in 6 weeks prior to the event date (18 May 2018)

You can:

  • self-fund this challenge you can pay £75 directly to Action Challenge, have no minimum sponsorship and simply raise as much as you can
  • enter as an individual
  • enter as a team
  • join an existing team
