Ben Nevis Weekend Trek

Ben NevisJoin Team A and conquer one of the UK's most popular mountain challenges in 2018. Towering more than 4000ft over Fort William, Ben Nevis is the highest peak in the British Isles and offers unrivalled views of the stunning Scottish Highlands. If the sun is shining, you can see all the way to the rock spires of the Isle of Skye and Loch Linnhe down to the Irish Sea!

This long uphill trek will provide you with a wonderful sense of achievement when you look out from the peak across a stunning backdrop.

  • Unlimited support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge.

What's included

  • All food, transfers and hotel accommodation.
  • Discover Adventure leaders and support crew.
  • Full vehicle support.
  • Optional pick-ups or drop-offs from Fort William Railway Station.

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • Make sure you are fit enough to take on a challenge of nature.
  • Pay a registration fee of £349 when you sign up.
  • Have raised 80% of your sponsorship 10 weeks prior to the event and the remaining 20% must be in 1 month post event.

You will:

  • Be supplied with a thorough training guide from Discover Adventure once you’ve registered.

You can choose one of two fundraising options:

  • Fundraising option - £99 registration fee with a £550 minumum fundraising target.
  • Full payment option - £99 registration fee, £275 tour cost paid directly to the tour operators and set your own fundraising target.

What's excluded

  • Travel insurance (optional)
  • Personal items such as drinks, snacks and souvenirs.
  • Entry to optional sites or activities.
  • Any applicable surcharges as per Terms and Conditions
