Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle

Join Team A for the most iconic cycle ride in the UK, covering the furthest distance possible in the British Isles. Starting at Land’s End on the south-westerly tip of England, we pedal our way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and the Highlands to the North Coast and John O’Groats. This epic challenge will leave you with a lifetime of stories from the length of the country!

  • Support and advice from Discover Adventure's knowledgeable and highly experienced tour reps.
  • Unlimited support from the Arthritis Research UK events team before, during and after your challenge.

What's included:

  • Full vehicle support en-route.
  • All meals and accommodation except where specified.
  • Discover Adventure leader, mechanic and driver(s).
  • Maps and route information.
  • Transfer from John O' Groats.

What else do I need to know?

You must:

  • Check your own bike is in good working order before departure.
  • Make sure you are fit enough to take on a challenge of nature.
  • Pay a registration fee of £349 when you sign up.
  • Have raised 80% of your sponsorship 10 weeks prior to the event and the remaining 20% must be in 1 month post event.

You will:

  • Be supplied with a thorough training guide from Discover Adventure once you’ve registered.

You can choose one of three payment options:

  • Fundraising option - £349 registration fee with a £2,850 minumum fundraising target.
  • Part payment option - £349 registration fee, £1,850 minimum fundraising target and £500 tour cost paid directly to the tour operator.
  • Full payment option - £349 registration fee, £1,425 tour cost paid directly to the tour operators and set your own fundraising target.

What's excluded

  • Two meals as specified in the itinerary.
  • Travel insurance (optional).
  • Personal spending money, souvenirs and drinks.
  • Optional night's accommodation in Cornwall (before Day 1).
  • Cycle helmet (compulsory) and water bottles.
  • Fees for any optional sites, attractions or activities.
  • Optional Discover Adventure bike courier return service.
  • Any applicable surcharges as per Terms and Conditions.
