Lantern Opera 2017
Inner Temple Hall, Crown Office Row, London, EC4Y 7HL
The Lantern Opera, the pinnacle of Arthritis Research UK's fundraising calendar, will take place at a beautiful new venue, the Inner Temple Hall, on Wednesday 1 March 2017. 'We were delighted to support the Lantern Opera 2015, happy in the knowledge that every penny raised went to an incredibly worthy cause.' Gary Laitner, Lantern Opera Guest
Based in the heart of London's legal quarter, the Inner Temple is one of four ancient Inns of Court and has been home, workplace, school and library to generations of barristers and judges. Its Georgian-style banqueting halls, oak-panelled walls, heraldic shields and historic paintings will provide a stunning backdrop to this special event.
The evening's programme
2017's Lantern Opera promises to be as memorable and magical an evening as previous events.
The evening will begin with a drink reception in the elegant Parliament Chamber overlooking Inner Temple's award-winning gardens from 6:30pm.
Guests will then move to the Main Hall for a sumptuous three-course dinner where they will be treated to salon operatic performances by artists from the Royal Opera House's Jette Parker Young Artists Programme.
All of the money raised at the 2017 Lantern Opera will fund new work putting people with arthritis at the heart of what we do.
We very much hope that you'll be able to join us and help us transform the lives of the millions of people living with arthritis today.
Tickets cost £180 per person or you can book an exclusive table for 10 guests for £1,750.
