Changes to Inheritance Tax encourage charitable giving

New changes to the rate of Inheritance Tax hope to encourage more people to include a gift to charity in their will. A gift of 10 per cent or more of an estate could reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax payable from 40 to 36 per cent.
