Hands On, Synovium and Topical Reviews are produced by Arthritis
Research UK three times a year. You can read them below or join the
free mailing list (see opposite). An email alert will be available
in due course.
Please note: These publications are intended for medical
practitioners. Some of their contents may be disturbing to readers
with arthritis or their carers.
Hands On
Each issue of Hands On contains practical advice about managing
musculoskeletal problems within primary care. Hands On also aims to
educate and inform GPs about current relevant topics within
rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine.

Topical Reviews
These reports are intended to provide authoritative overviews of
current areas of clinical interest and research in rheumatic
diseases. They are aimed primarily at rheumatologists in training
and general physicians.

Collected Reports
A bound volume with index. Collected Reports on the Rheumatic
Diseases 2008 (Series 5) contains all 29 reports published in
Series 5 (Issues 1-15 of Hands On and 1-14 of Topical Reviews).

Our mailing list
Hands On, Synovium and Topical Reviews are published three times a year, in spring, summer and autumn. Hands On and Synovium are currently automatically sent to all NHS GPs under 65 and many hospital doctors. Topical Reviews is not sent automatically to GPs, but any GP or other health professional or student can be added to the free mailing list. To add your name, please contact us.
